I would like at some time to discuss setting up regional groups for NAIN communications. It does not have to be discussed at this call, but I would like us to think about it as an effective way to serve our members.

It is inappropriate for me to publicize member events to the whole membership, because most members could not attend an event clear across the continent, for example.

If we had regional groups, Communications could further serve our members by helping publicize their events.

I believe that Interspirit has a way of doing this (forming regions), so we do not have to re-invent the infrastructure. We would just have to look at our current members and see whether there were some obvious regions. Bay Area is an obvious example.
