Just a tiny note -- and thanks.
When I used that word "prejudice" in my comment -- I was a little concerned that it might be too harsh -- too confrontational or critical. I didn't really mean it that way.
It is so easy for us to look out at the world through a matrix of expectations -- and react negatively when what we see doesn't match what we expect.
Sometimes -- that experience demands a "creative" response. We have to "invent a new way to see". This isn't so easy to do. So, I really try to encourage a spirit of trust, of listening, of acceptance. We don't know each other yet -- but we want to. And we can. Let's come together in friendship. There is power in that....

Bruce: thank you for the info on Jennifer O'Neill. Desiree: If your definition of "progressive women" means women who exclude others in prejudice, then I do not wish to be labeled "progressive" by you or anyone else.
Many times I find myself (and others who are trying to get the idea of love, compassion, and peace out there), choosing to use channels that do not necessarily 100% fit in with all my beliefs, but which I think are very positive in many ways, just to get the message out there. As long as the means and methods are those of integrity and honesty backed by compassion and love, then I think that it's OK to use them.
Blessings - Margo
