I am so excited to see in GTW all the things I've been thinking and feeling for so long. And now that I am a licensed CA attorney looking for a real job, I am revisiting all those questions that have nagged at me my entire adult life:

1. Are there jobs out there that are truly sensitive to my life goals (e.g. to have a high quality of life, time & opportunity to strengthen relationships with others, raise strong caring children)?

2. Is it possible to lead a life and career that will actually move our world forward, even if only a tiny bit?

3. If so, HOW, when it seems that the corruptive self-perpetuating influences of apathy and materialism dominate our past, present, and future?

4. How can I use the power I've cultivated as a strong, globally- oriented, educated Woman Lawyer to simultaneously live a life of freedom and choice, AND help create the same opportunity for others?

5. Finally, am I the only GTW member in the Central Valley of California? We really need to show our presence in this under- represented area!
