Retreat Picture yourself dancing in the moonlight at Aphrodite's temple where Sappho taught the ancient Goddess mysteries. During this trip of a lifetime, Dolphina and Timothi Jane Graham (see her bio below) will share with you the magic of Greece, secrets to living your own Goddess Life and The Goddess Workout Bellydance Teacher Training classes. We will spend 10 days living like an ancient Goddess: bathing in the marble pools of healing mineral waters at Thermi which are at the Temple of Hera overlooking the Mediterranean, shopping in an open-air bazaar for bellydance costumes in nearby Turkey, dancing at Greek Taverna's and training to teach The Goddess Workout in the middle of an olive grove.

Who comes? Women of all ages (must be 18 years or older), sizes, and walks of life who desire an unforgettable experience. This retreat is appropriate for dancers of all levels, from absolute beginners to those who want to become licensed to teach the Goddess Workout. At the end of the Teacher Training, dancers have the option to purchase, for an additional fee, a license to become certified to teach The Goddess Workout with Dolphina.

The Island Our GoddessLife retreat will take place on the Island of Lesvos, also known as Mytilini. It is the birthplace of Sappho and it is on this island that she taught her female disciples at the Temple of Aphrodite. This picturesque Island is known as a powerful place for women -- many of the tavernas, hotels, and businesses are owned and run by women (unusual for the male-dominated modern Greece). This island is unspoiled by tourism and is filled with breathtaking views, olive groves, gorgeous beaches and the joyful people of Greece.

Accommodations We will be staying at the Hotel Diamante in Molyvos, which be exclusively ours for the 10 days. This is a charming family-owned hotel with its own beach. With mountain and ocean views, the hotel is peaceful, unassuming and ideal for a spiritual retreat. Our dance classes will be held in the middle of an olive grove. It is walking distance to many tavernas and shopping. You can go out dancing every night or relax under the same stars the ancient Grecians did.

Your Guides Your every desire will be met by your loving and supportive guides, Dolphina and Timothi Jane Graham. Timothi was born and bred in New York City is truly a force of nature and a Goddess in her own rite. Always a seeker by nature, she set out on a journey of discovering the power of the Goddess within (and without) from a very early age. Through dance, writing, ritual and the study of Women's theology, Timothi learned to access that sacred power within and bring her to the fore of her life and her work. She has led women's moon circles for over 10 years as well as teaching the life changing Kundalini Yoga in New York and Greece. Timothi's background as a professional dancer as well as her experience as a globe trotting fashion model were the perfect training ground for latest incarnation as photographer. Her beautiful portraits of women have been featured in Real Savvy Moms, Urban Baby, Real Birth and the soon to be released book Born Clear. In all she does she strives to inspire, support, celebrate, provoke and bring the essence of the Goddess to light. Timothi is a self proclaimed Grecophile and has been traveling to Greece for the past 12 years. "Greece is energetically a very powerful place....a place to grow, heal, metamorphosize, let go and create. This sacred journey to Lesvos holds a very special place in my heart".

Transportation Book and fly the airline of your choice. Dancers come from all over the world for our retreat and teacher training, so there is no way to include airfare in our package price. We will provide transportation to all excursions, including the turkish baths, temples and day excursion to Turkey.
