...Have A Creative New Year Greetings from Bettye Johnson ~ December 30, 2008 It has been a wonderful 2008 with Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy receiving its own Independent Publishers Book Award and the publication of Awakening the Genie Within.When I was asked what my next book would be, I hit a blank because I didn't have a book idea at the time. However, I began contemplating and from this came the For Freedom Now Project to saturate the planet with the frequency of the words Love an Gratitude and the results are rewarding. This has a mind of its own and this will be an ongoing project - so if you havn't jumped on the train to change, please do so now. I have just posted a new article on the blog titled The Tipping Point. On November 25, I attended a forum at the United Nations on Global Public Health and the Eradication of Poverty sponsored by the NGO Section of DESA and co-sponsored and Organized by Women's Federation for Peace International a most worthy organization to join. What I learned only reinforced my idea of the For Freedom Now Project. We can be shift-changers. WHAT'S NEW: I have just begun a series of Sisterhood of the Way tales. These may eventually lead into a book. I began writing about one thing and it has now evolved into these tales. As a sneak preview here is the first paragraph of Tale #1: The Fork in the Road. "One morning I awoke and this was the day I would seek my future. I looked around my house and already noticed the cobwebs and dust forming and told myself, 'this is the past.' I walked outside and became aware that the atmosphere seemed different. I shrugged my shoulders and went outside the gate without closing it. As I walked on the road, everything appeared to be different. It was the same, but not the same. Strange. My energy was high and I felt a lightness in my chest, or as some would say, my heart. I became unaware of time and as I became aware of the road, I noticed it began to narrow. Soon I came to a fork in the road."
