Dear Sophians --

In response to the call for a truly "open open forum", we have created a new group on LightPages.

Here's the way this new system is set up:

• No application approval process for new members. You have to fill out a form, to create your membership, but you have instant access.
• No moderator. Messages are posted to the list immediately.
• No rules imposed by anybody.

Now -- like I said -- this might be a little inconvenient -- because we are again starting over -- this time in a truly wide-open framework. I have created this system on my own -- without any consultation with other Sophia leaders, and without talking to Jeanie. I hope it's a good idea -- and I hereby offer to help anyone get hooked up into this framework, if you need the help.

I hope people understand this. We are doing our best -- and it looks to me like this new framework is exactly what many of you really want.
