Dear Circle Connections Members,

The two weeks of the UN CSW are over. For the thousands of women and men attending, the UN renovations made the 54th Session very difficult logistically. The financial and structural support for the UN women's super agency has not been fulfilled and no final report was given. Many left disappointed but also energized to keep on carrying on.

I submitted a request for Ways Women Lead to give a Oral Report by presenting We the Women Declaration. I received the following announcement from the UNCSW 54 Session Team: "This is to inform you that on Wednesday afternoon, the podium announced that the High-level Plenary concluded. We're sorry that you were unable to deliver your statement. This year, an unprecedented number of NGOs requested to make oral statements. There was an unforeseen change of the Commission's schedule and, as a result, less time was allocated to the High-level Plenary. "

Now we will get out the word and gather support for We, the Women Declaration. How? Every way imaginable. Stay tuned and please help by sending us your ideas and contacts and networks willing to help.

March 8th we ended our events at the UN CSW by facilitating a women's sacred circle.
