Circle Connections has been involved with the United Nations through UN NGO accredited partners, individuals and organizations from our very beginning. I personally have been involved with the UN as an official UN NGO delegate for twenty-seven years. When someone asks me about the UN I take a big breath before I start explaining because it is large, complex and confusing.

On our blog is is an interview by Soon-Young Yoon, the new Chair of NGO Committee on the Status of Women telling about the global women’s movement and the United Nations. The UN NGO Commission on the Status of Women has held four UN World Conferences on on Women.
