DO WE NEED A SYNCON?

As a friend suggested to me this morning, it's almost the equinox -- and so many of us are something like "totally stunned" by what's going on in the world today.  Thomas Friedman goes over the point in detail in his recent book "Thank you for Being Late", which discusses everything about simultaneous processes and the mutually-accelerating and bewildering influence they are having today.  Add a very reasonable Trumpaphobia and the urgency becomes even more intense...

"We all sense it?something big is going on. You feel it in your workplace. You feel it when you talk to your kids. You can’t miss it when you read the newspapers or watch the news. Our lives are being transformed in so many realms all at once and it is dizzying."

"SynCon" is a Barbara Marx Hubbard word for "Synergtic Convergence" -- perhaps the most sophisticated concept out there for an "everything at once convergence of every type of expertise and interest".

Mark Zuckerberg, founder of FaceBook, put out a very interesting essay recently, on "building global community".  I'd say it's a foundational text-book for basic community-building in an era of global shift.

In a word, this is everybody talking to everybody about everything.

Now -- suppose into this vast sea of electronic interconnectivity -- as well-described by Friedman and actually constructed by Zuckerberg and Google and Intel -- we now inject a vast high-energy infusion of wide-band collective wisdom and enlightenment -- maybe rooted in indigenous wisdom, the Power of Circles -- and everything we learned over the last 20 years about resonance and convergence and co-creative collective intelligence....

How hard would it be?

I did compile one master vision -- that I have sometimes described as "the most powerful idea anybody ever almost thought..."

It IS staggering.  But -- it's the juice.  As they used to say about Prego spaghetti sauce -- "it's in there".

Maybe in the end it's actually simple -- if we just find a way to trust each other and everybody does their part.  "The shin bone's connected to the knee bone..."

Do we get that?  Did we learn how to do that?
