Thank you Dianne,

It is interesting that you use the word "Compromise," that was the name of the the beautiful sailboat my older brother lived on in King Harbor for quite a few years. My Elli and I compromise on many things... we discuss things... I make my point... then we compromise, and I do what I'm told... it works out quite nicely.

We had a water ski boat from 1977 until last year... but I never named it.

"Boat Compromise" My friend wanted a boat more than anything. His wife kept refusing, but he bought one anyway. "I'll tell you what," he told her, "In the spirit of compromise, why don't you name the boat?" Being a good sport, she accepted. When her husband went to the dock for his maiden voyage, this is the name he saw painted on the side: "For Sale."

This is for Jim Sandt, just to enliven your evening. Dianne Porter Stark
