Just a week ago i read a piece which stated A is the symbol for Water ...

Then i remember a river in Drente/Netherlands given the name "AA" ...

Seeing the Jokerman "A" :

notice the triangle shape of big A and the triangle inside ... (electric force : ActiVAte)

here the character Y is also giving 3 directions and 3 areas ...

see it as a man spreading the hands high out and being grounded as a Tree ...
