We have heard a great deal about a Call To Action, in the face of 
every dilema we are currently challenged with.

I would like to put forth another option that needs to be actualized, 
before any meaningful action can take place.

These observations come from personal experience, observing patterns 
in world events and human behaviour over time, as well as the recent 
viewing of Freedom To Fascism and the message from a Mayan shaman.

I will share this quote from an interview with Carlos Barrios, 
speaking about the present changes we are experiencing.

A Call for Fusion 

"As he met with audiences in Santa Fe, Mr. Barrios told a story about 
the most recent Mayan New Year ceremonies in Guatemala. He said that 
one respected Mayan elder, who lives all year in a solitary mountain 
cave, journeyed to Chichicastenango to speak with the people at the 
ceremony. 

The elder delivered a simple, direct message. He called for human 
beings to come together in support of life and light. 

Right now each person and group is going his or her own way. 

The elder of the mountains said there is hope if the people of the 
light can come together and unite in some way. 

Reflecting on this, Mr. Barrios explained: 

"We live in a world of polarity: day and night, man and woman, 
positive and negative. Light and darkness need each other. They are a 
balance. Just now the dark side is very strong, and very clear about 
what they want. They have their vision and their priorities clearly 
held, and also their hierarchy. They are working in many ways so that 
we will be unable to connect with the spiral Fifth World in 2012." 

"On the light side everyone thinks they are the most important, that 
their own understandings, or their group's understandings, are the 
key. There's a diversity of cultures and opinions, so there is 
competition, diffusion, and no single focus." 

As Mr. Barrios sees it, the dark side works to block fusion through 
denial and materialism. It also works to destroy those who are 
working with the light to get the Earth to a higher level. They like 
the energy of the old, declining Fourth World, the materialism. They 
do not want it to change. They do not want fusion. They want to stay 
at this level, and are afraid of the next level. 

****The dark power of the declining Fourth World cannot be destroyed 
or overpowered. It's too strong and clear for that, and that is the 
wrong strategy. The dark can only be transformed when confronted with 
simplicity and open-heartedness. This is what leads to fusion, a key 
concept for the World of the Fifth Sun.****"


If we take this wisdom and apply it to our present choices, and the 
problem of manifesting change in the world in all areas; freedom, 
human rights, justice, peace, healing of the environment and the 
cause of suffering and hatred, the possibilities for creative 
solutions open to reveal that we need to focus on solutions that aim 
at fusion.

THERE MUST BE NO "OTHER".

We need to listen again to Aaron Russo. He speaks of this problem in 
the same way. He calls us to unite and to find the common ground 
beyond all differences. His vision is not as refined as the Mayan 
shaman, but it is getting there.

The forces that confuse and create misery in the world, depend on our 
inclination to seek out someone to blame. This causes us to see only 
the small view and miss the big picture entirely. 

We blame Bush, or the Republicans...the Conservatives...and forget 
that these problems are always present, no matter who sits in 
power...because they are only puppets controlled by the shadow 
government.

We also need to focus on a "deeper reality" that transcends shadow 
governments and petty agendas and not place ourselves against 
anything or anyone.

If we polarize, we cannot form effective action strategies, because 
we are infighting. We set the right against the left; men against 
women; church against state; women against women; pro- life against 
pro-choice. It goes on forever.

We are separated wherever any manifestation of difference can create 
a wedge and work its mischief. 

It can be race, religion, gender, lifestyle, economic status, a value 
or belief...anything at all, where we are prepared to place the 
little self and the small picture before the authentic self and the 
greater good.

If we can overlook our differences and actually unite...truly...for 
the sake of a vision that is far greater than any single difference, 
or the sum of all differences...we can work miracles in a very short 
space of time.

Now we need both a call to action and a call to unity.

Unity means fusion, harmony and complimentarity between polarities, 
rather than oppositional tension and "tollerance".

That is what we need to work on.

Are there enough people out there who are ready to relinquish their 
investment in the current paradigm...the collective agreement...that 
sustains reality, as we are currently witnessing it played out on the 
stage of the world ?

There is an ancient saying that evil cannot touch you when you 
stand on holy ground.

Our common ground is our humanity and it is holy ground. Its center 
(our humanity)is everywhere and its perimeter is the infinite 
formless sanctuary of our divinity.

To mobilize people to see that this is our source of strength, 
protection and power, is the challenge.

This is also the only way to reach "Critical Mass" !

Let us begin to reach out to one another across every divide and 
bring all walls down. 

Let us make reaching that "critical mass", our goal and let our 
intention be clear, focused, strong and uncompromisingly 
compassionate.
