International Women's Day has been designated as March 15. I send greetings and celebrate each of you. From my perspective, we are living in interesting times. Each of us have to be aware of the potentials to keep us enslaved to the established male consciousness.

The United Nations wants to implement an Agenda through the UN Department of Economics and Social Affairs/Division of Sustainable Development of Agenda21. http://www.un.org/esa/sustdev/documents/agenda21/english/agenda21toc.htm

You can read the proposed agenda at the above site and I urge each of you to do this. I submitted the website to several of my friends - one in the U.S. and the other in Canada, I received the same response.

If the Agenda 21 is passed, it may not be in women's best interest. One compared it as being implemented by the New World Order (NWO) as a means of control. The document contains much "legal language" and is cold, impersonal, boring to read and written to control and 'manage' the populus ensuring only its own corporate interests.

Before we jump on the bandwagon for Agenda 21, please read it or have someone with a knowledge of legal terms to do so and take whatever action you want to.

As an aside, I recently purchased The Other Side of War by Zainab Salbi with a sub-title of Women's Stories of Survival & Hope. Alice Walker wrote the Preface. I opened the book at random and came across this quote: WOMEN GOSSIP BECAUSE WHEN THEY ARE KEPT IN THEIR HOMES, THEY HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO BUT WATCH COMINGS AND GOINGS. GOSSIP IS THE ENEMY OF WOMEN. -- Milena from Guaipa, Tolima.

It is up to us to teach our girls and boys whether they be our own or our grandchildren the value of women and life. Each of us can take the responsibility to be beacons of light and wisdom in this chaotic world. Each in her or his own way. Bettye Johnson www.magdalenescrolls.com
