How bizarre! I did not realize that you were responding to MY trip announcement from so long ago! I would still love to do a trip; however, I would not be going to those parts until the fall, whenever Hunbatz is available, and I am also going to Project Ixcanaan where I would do theater with young women there to prepare for a big festival in El Remate, Peten, N. Guatemala, called Unification Maya. See the website www.ixcanaan.com (it is a little messed up at the moment). Is it just you who is interested? Do you have friends who might want to go? This could be a fantastic experience for you, as it was for me on my first journey, combined with Guatemala volunteering or not. I am in Reno, but we don't have to leave from here. Tell me exactly what you want and I can create this. It fits perfectly with my brand new commitment to return to my young students in El Remate which is a half hour from Tikal!
