Good morning.

As all these forces continue to coalesce, I'm finding myself drawn into the emerging vision of "transpartisan" politics. There's a good web site on this theme, and a conference coming up in February.

There's a lot to this, and a lot of different forces involved. One thing I have done is develop a proposal for a "Congressional Caucus on Transpartisan and Integral Politics", and I am beginning to develop what I am calling a "workbook" on these themes, intended as a collection of resources for an extended creative conversation. Where I think this is going is -- towards the emergence of a national network intended to refine these ideas, and then radiate their influence into the political conversation at every point in the grid.

One voice on transpartisan.net is Barry Tillman, who is working with Bioneers, and is putting together a campaign based on a "grandfather tipi". This is kind of an amazing aspect of what is going on -- that we could consider bringing this level of deep organic and indigenous spirituality into our real-world political context. But it feels to me like this can and should happen. How does this circle process convened in a tipi connect to a congressional caucus, and how are its deliberations authenticated and validated in our real-world secular context?

These are some big issues. So, how do the pieces come together? We build a circle-based network process with enough horsepower to contain all the elements, and we hold them together in relationship through an emerging network design....

Here's a link to Barry Tillman's .pdf, and here's a image from it.
