Feedback:

We had a gathering Thursday night, and women started discussing what's been happening with Sophia WWC. Women were shocked to hear the kind of authority and control being exercised over the prgram and community, especially the monitored forums, blocked emails and censorship. Several said "this doesn't sound like 'Sophia' at all". And most said they could never support something run like this -- and what would be the point, anyway, if the walk doesn't match the talk?

Three who voiced this are ministers, several are activists, and all are wise caring women, in my opinion. Unfortunately, those are the voices this group labels and shuts down.

As someone pointed out, few intelligent women will agree to follow ANYONE without the right to ask questions, have a dialog and affect direction. Right now, none of the women in my group want anything more to do with SophiaWWC. Meeting people with titles from Bulgaria doesn't seem to be what women are looking for from this.
