| Comment: We stood in front yard of our 'sangha' house, where we meet every Sunday. Here we do a 30 minute silent mediation, followed by a guided visualization/'Tonglen' --- breathing in the suffering of sentient beings and breathing out love & peace. As a mother I thought about the community of mothers everywhere (including men who are in touch with their hearts--such as the dear ones in our group, including my husband the photographer).
