I'm a grandmother who has been inspired to teach the people how to find within them the power to overcome through sacred ceremonies and retreat. The Teachings that I was shown were inspired through dreams and visions. and I was to call the woman together...to begin healing the sacred hoop. It is through these things, remembering their own power and finding their spirit that the future of all begins to be healed... for within woman lies the key...for it was placed within them to become awakened...I see the woman gathering with one heart ...one spirit...reaching out into the world to inspire other woman. September 21st is International Peace Day and what better way to celebrate then by sending the US Congress some postcards. The goal is to get people from all over the country to participate and flood the capital with postcards with words of peace, hope, and love. Join us by spreading the word and start making those postcards so that we will have more than enough to prove our point that this country is ready for PEACE.
Mail your postcards out on Sept. 19th so they will flood the US Capitol on the 21st. Have a postcard decorating party! Get the kids involved too!

Also, check out 100goodwomen.org ----they are a grass roots org---a great model. There is also info about Luna Fest---a film fest of films created by women featuring women's issues.

I'm Sally A. Deutsch. I feel at this time God is speaking to us, thru mother nature. Some people are listening. More each day. Especially the children and I think they are the hope for the future. I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. The 4 older grandchildren, Vivian 11, Ben 13, Abby 14 and Mitchell 17 are all involved in helping their community and church. They help in soup kitchens and nursing homes and Vivien just got back from Georgia with her church helping for a week with the youthgroup. They are the future peace makers.

I believe we are one race - specifically mankind (or womankind) as the case may be -- I believe in placing the emphasis on the work 'kind' as in 'kindness'.
My dream is for the whole world to realize that we do have the capacity to reflect the higher power (using our own choice of name for this higher power) that created and sustains us.
My dream is to realize that we are all on a journey that I believe will expand far beyond this plane of existence. I believe we should begin to enlighten ourselves - to "get understanding" and to begin this process now in this space and time. I believe that 'understanding' is the most important word in the English language, and possibly all languages, because with understanding comes love, forgiveness and charity.

Clean drinking water, medical tratment, and food are not available in too many parts of our world. Our less fortunate brothers and sisters are sick and unable to provide for their children because of lack of food, water, and medicines.
