Followup: A wonderful and large gathering at the Rose Garden at the old Santa Barbara Mission -- 250 people or more I am guessing. It was inspiring and impressive -- to see so many people, commited, caring, coming from the heart, sensing the possibilities of a better future, and ready to "be there" to make it happen.
Intro/dream: My Dream:
The people of the nations and of the world learn to love one another, and in that process, discover the collective genius of their nation and the world...
We learn to listen, we learn to "co-create", we learn to work together. It is an amazing, a thrilling discovery. Everything is changed by this discovery. Politics is transformed, from a bitter and manipulative process, to a joyful experience that liberates the power and grace of humanity and civilization...

Where standing: More than 200 women, men, children, and a doggie or two sweetly and gently started to arrive and form a bigger and bigger circle... at 12:58 we rang some bells for people to know it was almost time... and at 1:00 we rang bells again, and most people joined hands and stood in the brilliant sun, by a huge demonstration rose garden across from the old Spanish Mission... at 1:05pm the bells were rung again and everyone cheered and applauded. This was just one of several gatherings in our town. May there be many more opportunities like this-- peace in all directions.

Followup: HELLO DEAR ONES,
Am most grateful to have been lead to your web site..........thank you.
August of 2006 when the war had reached another level of intensity I found myself filled with an extrodinary amount of heaviness and tension, it was trying to consume my mind and body, and in doing so destroy the center where "The Stillness" resides in me. I began to experience a pulling of myself outward and ended up standing on an overpass here in Seattle where a small group of women and children would go to every Sunday form 2-3pm. We would Stand for the "Intention of Peace" holding white flowers in a quiet vigil.
Then eight months later I felt this pull to begin Standing at the Federal Building, aside the flag pole, also quietly aligning my body to be an open vessel to house Peace and then release the Peace out into the world. We have begun to Stand also at the US Courthouse and the Seattle Center
Five weeks ago I obtained a used pair of combat boots and now when Standing I place the white flowers in the boots , aligning myself to whomever wore those boots. I do this to honor those who have died and those still wearing combat boots. Just Standing, with eyes closed using cleansing breathing and becoming the hollow bone for housing Peace.
Several weeks ago I began to be more visual and carry the boots over my shoulder inbetween the Standing..It has become a combination of humbling and empowerment.......I am becoming the experience of the exhaled breath....
We are in five cities, small in number, yet mighty in strength, we are honored to align with Standing women....and...... Womenstanding....The critical mass is rising rapidly by the breath of Peace
With you, Ms Jude Morford
Intro/dream: I am a sixty yr old mother of four and grandmother of eight who finds herself being drawn to be a visual sign in this world by Standing for theIntention of Peace.....
Retired Hospice Nurse who was given a rare opportunity to be present with those who prepared themselves to be release from this plane.
Do not be afraid.......just be present to the moment....
Our children ................security of being, strength of personhood, power of conviction and the natural insight to simply be...

Followup: I hope you are all still looking at these so you can hear what your idea spawned. On mothers day in Keene we did stand for 5 minutes, but we also strung a clothes line around central square and hung over 200 onesies on the line, decorated with images and words of peace. Some of these were old onesies, rescued from keepsake boxes in attics, some where brand new and bought for the occassion. When we were done we wrote messages of solidarity and love for all children in arabic on the onesies and then sought out a way to get them into the hands of mothers trying to raise children in impossible circumstances in Iraq. Finally we found a way and off they went to a hospital setting where mothers and children were trying to connect with husbands and sons who had been injured or arrested. We also sent your translated message along with the onesies. You should be heartened to know that when they got there there were lots of tears and discussion about what it meant to get something in their language, lots of laughter as they tried to figure out how to use the onesies, and that your translated message is on the wall in the hospita. The nurse who received the onesies said it is a source of ongoing conversation and gratitude, long past the point of the onesies. So it won't create world peace, but we can all be a bit gentled by reaching across barriers with messages of love. Thank you for helping us do this and for providing the message and the translation. I hope your work is continuing.
Where standing: As part of our mothers day event we will gather in our town square - at the gazebo. I would like to make this the end of the event but not yet certain how the timing will work
Intro/dream: Mothersuniting is a group in Keene NH commited to creating a nonviolent and just world for all children.

Followup: In 1988 I had a near death experience and was shown many things. The Christ and the Councils of Light parted the heavens and I saw the Mother Earth before me sick and trembling. I watched as she shook and trembled trying to overcome her sickness.
I was show the great devastation that was taking place deep within her, destroying her. The people oblivious to what was happening all wrapped up in their own lives. I was told to gather the children of light...to awaken them...for the power to heal all things lies within them.
Intro/dream: I'm a grandmother who has been inspired to teach the people how to find within them the power to overcome through sacred ceremonies and retreat. The Teachings that I was shown were inspired through dreams and visions. and I was to call the woman together...to begin healing the sacred hoop. It is through these things, remembering their own power and finding their spirit that the future of all begins to be healed... for within woman lies the key...for it was placed within them to become awakened...I see the woman gathering with one heart ...one spirit...reaching out into the world to inspire other woman. For the healing within woman is the future..and hope of all the children born.
