I AM AN EVOLUTIONARY WOMAN
What do you want people to know about you?
I was born in England and have always considered my life as a work in progress. Consequently I have lived in many countries and studied many beliefs and philosophies, some formally, others informally. For the last six years I have lived in the US and teach Women's Studies and Feminist Theory online for the University of Maine.
I meditate, paint, hike, cycle, swim and research family history. I am also a member of the New Monk Project.
I read Shambala Sun, What is Enlightenment? Guardian Weekly and the Economist. Just now I am reading new biographies about and by women, also Peace is Every Step by Thich Nhat Hanh and Islam by Karen Armstrong.
I have three adult offspring and four grandchildren. I am, finally, married to John Mason a History professor and sculptor.
What is most important to you now?
To continue to learn and grow; my relationships with my family; my relationship to Gaia; meeting other evolutionary people.
What gifts do you have for others?
Eager listening, open and thoughtful talk, an international perspective and some wisdom gained from life experiences.
What gifts would you like to receive from others?
The feeling that I am not alone in my philosophy and world view; the hope that transformation can be achieved in my lifetime; the strength and support that comes from like minds in sympathy.
