Tamara, we must have ridden the bus together for years. From 1948-57 the bus driver lived in your area and my dog would walk there during the summer when I would go to Colorado, he would wait outside the door waiting for me to get off the bus, she would call my grandparents and they would come and get him. The Times paper took his picture and wrote a story about him. A woman by the name of Edna Haven lived in that area, a nice friend of my grandpartents. My garandfather was an artist and had his painting hung at Buddies Cafe....
