In early 1960 I met my future husband at a party in La Tuna Canyon. On our first date he took me to the Smoke House for dinner and to the Paladium dancing. A pretty romantic first date and a far cry from the usual movie and trip to the Frosty for an ice cream. No wonder I married the guy.
