OK, with you girls out on the same hiking trails as we were, why didn't we ever run into each other?

Isn't it great that "Hiking" was something the kids back then did regularly. We stayed in the Tujunga Area until 1974 when we took off for the great Northwest. But our kids, have such great memories of hiking up Sister Elsie. A few years ago, my two daughters and I took my Mom back to the old neighborhood in Tujunga to revist her old stomping grounds and both girls had to see if they could still climb Sister Elsie. They did, but what a great thing for them to grow up with, Hiking!!! Now Me, I couldn't hike over an ant hill but I did skate. :) Peggy Yates Perdue S'58
