Ok, want to play around with the email font.  The table cell was set to 12pt Times New Roman in a style definition.  But the RTF editor simply uses Times New Roman size=3 as its default -- which appears pretty small in my Eudora email program. 

So, I just defined the basic message cell font as times new roman size 3.  Let's see what happens.

and this should go back to black.

so, might have to go over this stuff a bit to make it work right.  preview is important.  if anybody wants to post a high-end or important message, they should definitely be using preview.
