Thank you Ram and Jane for your concerns.
Yes, I am focusing my attention to living in the now as well as being part of what calls the good times into Being.
Of course I have not suspended my logical mind either as I do live here now. This planet probably has many unseen souls inhabiting it as well as what we see. I personally don't think over populations is a good state for Gaia and therefore can understand why the Urantia messages say that the earth was designed for about five million people as I recall. Throughout Cycles there have always been population reduction taking place whether through natural calamities or man-made ones (never woman-made - teehee) and there are many predictions that suggest that Gaia is overburden at present. In any case, I came to this planet to help make it a better world and hope to witness the new paradigm in the 2012 period, so I am taking proactive steps by trusting that I will always be in the right place at the right time. Now if that means leaving this illusion behind or viewing from another dimension, then so be it.
I like Janes understanding when she writes: "scenarios described above are unmanifested potentials at this time". So let us dream (when we are giving ourselves time to dream in the NOW) of our Immortal Paradiscal Truth in the endless Elisium Gardens with potentials we can only begin to fathom.

What you think today manifests tomorrow, or soon there after... We must always remember that the past and future do not exist in the Now. The past is only a memory, and the future is only an unmanifested potential. Only the Eternal Present exists, and how that present comes into being is determined by our thoughts and actions expressed today. This is the universal concept (and law) of Creative Reality.
* - So one might be able to see that the two future scenarios described above are unmanifested potentials at this time. Does that mean no truth exists in either scenario? Does it mean that one, or the other, is completely true? Or that only part of one or the other is true? What it means is that we are, at best, imagining these scenarios as taking place in the future. No book, no prophecy, no piece of channeling can guarantee the events of the future. Only we can do that by our thoughts and actions expressed in the world today.

- These kind of scenarios are dangerous because they tend to trap our thoughts in the so-called future, becoming fixated on a detailed vision that we think has value to us as "truth". This vision is given priority instead of focusing and applying our consciousness in the present moment. The more we believe in these future outcomes, the more we will make them come true. [It is done unto you, as believe, it’s all in the scriptures.] Creative reality would indicate that many other future projections are possible besides these current visions of the future!

- What do we want to see and experience in our future world? What should we be doing NOW in order to make that happen? What thoughts and actions should we be projecting now? Or do we surrender to the helplessness of an overpoweringly negative future image? Do you see the closeness of the two words IMAGE and IMAGINE?

- It is true that changes are occurring, with more to come. Without having to choose between popular causes, we can see that global warming is a reality. Political instability and environmental challenges are very real. But what we do with these challenges now will create the future tomorrow.

- As an individual, how can we have an effect on the world? It is crucial that we stop living in the past or in the future, and bring our consciousness back to the Eternal Present. If you are concerned about Ascension, then prepare for it now. Make the changes in your thinking and feeling to reflect acceptance, understanding, compassion and unconditional love for all beings and all things.

- If you are concerned about the ongoing wars and killing, organize groups to focus and project thoughts of peace and harmony in the lands of conflict and all over the planet. If you are concerned about our political actions, focus and project thoughts of truth, honesty and complete integrity in all offices of our government and in all the governments of the world. Focus on these things by believing they are already manifest NOW!

- We are not bound by future visions or religious or channeled prophecies. Let's make the world a better place by believing. . . that positive outcomes to our challenges DO exist and are a reality now, not "maybe tomorrow". Think freely and be free - free to live in Joy, free to Love life, free to fulfill your Greatest Dreams!

Like you Starr*, I too am focusing being in touch with my inuition for this one. And currently I am optimistically feeling-knowing a positive note in this regard. I do not see such a reduction of the population at all. Nor do I wish to entertain any thoughts in this direction. In fact, I see the opposite and that too with so much new connecting energy to help us to reconnect with all we are and keep restroing our lost freedom and originality that we intrinsically are.
Let's keep dwelling that we, as spiritual beings, persistently focus:
1. Our Oneness connectioin that we all intrinsically inherit.
2. Renewing this connection daily and doing as such in our day to day living of our lives.
3. Trusting the Divine Orchestration: "In God we trust".
By so doing there isn't any room for negativity/pessimism; rather there is all positivity and hope for ongoing betterment for all of us together.
Let's keep enjoying our human experiences together.

I really needed to hear that one should trust and use their intution regarding this Shift. It is something you think you are doing, but it is always good to remind ourselves and to make sure to apply it to something as monumental as this Shift.
I think it was good he mentioned the ending of the five thousand two hundred year cycle as part of the Shift, but 21 Dec. 2012 is also a major 26,000 year change for the planet.

The Challenges and Opportunities of 2012 by Owen Waters
On December 21st, 2012, a major galactic synchronization will occur. This date marks the end of a 26,000 year cycle of influence upon human experience, as well as the end of a 5,200 year cycle within that, and also the end of many more sub-cycles, all in synchronicity with each other.
While this 2012 event is likely to be a time of material difficulty, it will also be one of enormous spiritual opportunity. It will be a time when souls are brought together to realize their spiritual desires, to step into the light of inspiration like never before, and to become that which they have the potential to be.
Along with the opportunity will come challenges. When the converging Mayan cycles end on December 21st, 2012, the world will likely be torn by emotional imbalances. In general, people don't do well at the change point of major cycles unless they are grounded and centered spiritually. Daily meditation will not be a luxury in 2012; it will be an emotional survival tool!
While your friends and colleagues are going through their emotional crises, you can be the one in their midst with the balance and the poise to take the emotional cross-currents and turbulence in your stride. They will look to you to see how an individual can be balanced enough to survive everything that people will be facing at that time.
All of the remaining loose ends of the old cycle will be competing for attention and completion in a crescendo of issues and challenges. People will be in overload and wondering why you can handle it all so well.
When we, as spiritually-centered people, are able to think positively and handle our emotions in a wise and detached manner, we can be a guiding light to others to do the same. As we grow spiritually through daily spiritual practices, we can demonstrate to others that this is the way to stay centered right through the eye of the storm.
Daily spiritual practices increase your awareness of intuition. The great advantage of paying attention to your sense of intuition is that you become forewarned about events or crises that you do not need to experience.
For example, once in a while, a friend or relative will ask me if I'm worried whether the next flight that I've booked will crash. I look at them, a little surprised, and say, "If it were going to crash, it wouldn't have felt like the right flight to book!" This is because, when making plans, I've made it a habit to check my intuitive sense as to which options will work out for the best.
Today, some people have become concerned about coastal flooding due to rising ocean levels. This is a valid concern as it is something which will happen one day, sooner or later. The question is no longer if it will happen, but when. So, if you keep having an uneasy, intuitive feeling that it's time to plan on relocating, then you need to accept your inner knowing and act upon what feels right. Then, you'll be in the right place at the right time rather than in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's that simple. Intuition will guide you past life's unnecessary obstacles every time.
Intuitive inner knowing is something that emerges from the background of your consciousness. It may be accompanied by a sense of foreboding, which is a valid warning sign, but never by an overtly excited sense of drama or fear. Inner knowing is a subtle influence. If you ever should need to relocate, you will know inside which areas to go and explore as potential alternatives as they will resonate in harmony with your inner knowing.
The best thing about 2012 is the spiritual opportunity it presents. This changeover of major cosmic cycles offers a quantum leap environment for sudden spiritual growth.
If you want to progress in sudden strides along your path of spiritual development, then you'll want to spend the months before and after December 2012 being free from the challenges of the mundane world and engaged, instead, in reaching deeper and deeper states of spiritual awareness.
Choose peace and wellbeing. Listen to the voice within. Arrange your life now so that you are in a peaceful environment where you can make spiritual growth your top priority each and every day.
2012 is coming, and with it, the greatest energetic environment for spiritual advancement that you have seen in your entire life!
