Dear Women of my Heart,

This is very last minute, but there is a connection being woven with African women that may call you...

Gather the Women is partnering with Mama na Dada and Global Partners for Development to host 500 women of grassroots Africa to meet at the Bondo Teacher's Training College in Kenya, connect with one another, exchange their stories, and begin to connect with their sisters in other countries as well.

Gather the Women is collecting silky scarves with personal notes to an African sister, that may be passed on at the meeting in Africa. Several of us in Santa Barbara have written notes with our email addresses, and are sending them with scarves to Global Partners on Tuesday, Nov 14 (to arrive by Nov 17).
