Does anybody out there remember the talent shows that were put on in the auditorium? My memory is failing me as to who some of our local talent was. Maybe some of you know. I do remember a couple of local bands that played. I also remember the teachers doing a skit in one of the shows on "Ally Oop" which was hilarious. I know it was waaay back when I was new to VHHS ( I think I was in 7th or 8th grade) so I did not know the names of too many people other than the kids I ran around with at that time which was just a handful.

Brenda Cossum Cramer, would have been S'62.

One of my special memories while at VHHS was our class's (S'57 Patricians) Senior Recognition Night. Remember the day your class received their sweaters and celebrated that evening. As I recall, those in our class jumped in their cars and proceeded to a fountain in LA (I think it was the Los Feliz fountain) where some brave soul or souls put something in the water that made bubbles. If I recall correctly, we all vammoosed before the police arrived.

We then went to the "Pike" which was a big amusement park at the beach and dared each other to keep on riding the roller coaster. Does anyone know who rode it the most times?

It was a fun time made more so because we shared it together. What about other class recognition nights, any memories?

Sandy Scheffers-Kissinger, S'57
