Dear Jonathan - Yes, this is just what I needed to read - thank you.

Incorporating Love as the piviotal point of the entire Portal to Unity, I feel is very important. I so much want to answer some of the posts, but must wait till guests leave. Meanwhile here are two quotes about 'Love' that I put in another post recently. The "Love" we are looking at here, as the priviotal point, is the Divine Love from Source that permeates All (first love - note how we become the image of God when we connect with this love - this will be our 'unconditional love' from the human heart to the world of being when become more of the image of the Divine).

“Paris Talks, by `Abdu'l-Bahá, pp. 179-180: In the world of existence there is indeed no greater power than the power of love. When the heart of man is aglow with the flame of love, he is ready to sacrifice all--even his life. In the Gospel it is said God is love. There are four kinds of love. The first is the love that flows from God to man; it consists of the inexhaustible graces, the Divine effulgence and heavenly illumination. Through this love the world of being receives life. Through this love man is endowed with physical existence, until, through the breath of the Holy Spirit-- this same love--he receives eternal life and becomes the image of the Living God.

Starr*: I think we receive a glimpse of the connection between the Holy Spirit mentioned in the above quote and the Maid of Love or Maid of Heaven when we consider the following quote:

No. 24 “And so this is the stage and station of the Hidden Treasure which is mentioned. And when that Hidden Essence revealed Its Essence to Its Essence and showed forth Its Self to Its Self, the Maiden of Love, which was veiled within the canopy of the Essence of Unity, arose and came forth.” (I Was a Hidden Treasure” Commentary by `Abdu’l-baha, No. 24) Baha’i Studies). http://bahailibrary.com/provisionals/hidden.treasure.html”

*I am very excited about what is being created here - and feel a bit impatient as I know several places that are saying they need this kind of remedy right now. Hopefully, we can pull it together for use effectively and quickly - maybe it will evolve as we go. Looking forward to dialogue soon. Starr*

Love, in its various forms, is the almighty drive that sends people to the extremes of human endeavor. This potent force which pervades the universe is part and parcel of the human experience, providing people with learning and evolution. It is the driving force behind all life in its journey back to the Oneness of all things.

There are many forms of love. There is the love of a mother for her baby. There is the love of a child for their parents. There is the camaraderie of people of like mind. There is the love shown by self-sacrifice in order to save others during a crisis.

All these are manifestations of the one love, the one energy which pervades all existence upon all frequencies of consciousness. The world is changing. It is transforming into a world of human dignity and poise, where one person is honored by all other people, where suffering has come to an end because people reach out with their hearts to serve humanity in any way they see fit.

It is a world of love that will blossom forth when fear comes to an end. When fear is transformed, people will not fight for resources, they will create ways to make sure there is enough of everything for everyone. When fear is transformed, people will not need to have power over others in order to feel more secure within themselves.

Fear is a mental energy. It circulates the globe within the mind belt of mankind. It can be transformed into love by the prayers and intentions of every spiritually-minded individual upon the face of the globe. When fear is neutralized by love, world peace will dawn. Sending your love energy out into the world is an act of transformation, and one with your name on it. When you are joined by millions of others in this dynamic act of transformation, we will have peace on earth.
