Shanti Shivani is a singer, vocal teacher and sound healer who has been teaching and performing internationally since 1986. She brings a wealth of several decades of vocal, meditative, movement and teaching experience to her classes. She has been the disciple of the illustrious Dagar family from North India, the masters of Dhrupad, since 1981 and also studied with renowned European sound and movement teachers. She also trained and collaborated with F. Leboyer, the European father of natural childbirth and is one of the few people authorized to teach his toning work for pregnancy and birthing.

ON CONSCIOUS EVOLUTION - SANTA BARBARA
I moved to Santa Barbara on the eve of the new millenium, i.e. 2001 from Santa Fe, New Mexico. I had been coming to Southern California on a regular basis every few months to facilitate workshops and give concerts of North Indian vocal music and World Music since February 1999 and fell in love with Santa Barbara and its inhabitants. I was travelling with my workshops and concerts between Jan. 2003 and March 2004 and am very happy to be back!
