I am new to the area and just moved here from Hawaii abot a year ago. The homeless population is frightening! I worked in a homeles shelter 10 years ago in Marin County and we set up tents and services for people in the winter months. People donated food and the shelter was pretty much self sufficient. I have not been ableto obtain employment here so I am attending SBCC for an alcohol and drug counseling degree and lookin to do some volunteer work in Santa Brbara. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and tons of work experience. Please let me know how I could help.
