In 1992, I left my comfy social trappings as a Madison Avenue copywriter in New York to chase my heart to Sedona in desperate need to reconnect with Earth. I hiked the red rocks everyday for eight years, and urged Spirit to ravage me as S/He does the windswept junipers. I 'heard' the sorrow of trees cut down to pave golf courses through the green and red forests, and met my dachshund friend, Sweetgrass, who 'died' a little over a month ago, soon after I published the last edition of my book. I am mostly a vegan, and when I am not, a vegetarian. In Sedona, I worked as a spirit and animal medium during Polarity-Reiki-Massage sessions, and wrote - and still do - articles published in lightworker magazines. Currently living in Santa Barbara since 2000 except for a one-year stay in Montana, I work mostly as a writer, an online/'onphone' animal and spirit medium, and long-distance energy therapist. At the end of the day, when I'm not off to walk the foothills, I'm usually running on the beach, and/or the treadmill at the gym. I am private, gregarious, clean, respectful of community space, and usually prefer to visit with friends outside of my living space. Many weekends, I am away giving presentations and consultation readings at holistic expos. I miss the tangible aspect of my dachshund friend.
