It's been a long while since I last posted. Some of you are aware that, I lost my grandson in July of 2016. What you may not know is that, Tonio took his own life. He was 15 yrs. old. Suicide has become a silent pandemic. According to the W.H.O., suicide is now the third leading cause of death in teens, WORLDWIDE. There are doubtless, many of you who have been directly affected by this catastrophic loss of loved ones.

After Tonio died, I felt compelled to do something. I could not let his life and death pass by without doing something to honor him. I set out to create sort of PSA to reach out to those suffering with suicidal ideation. In my mind, I was writing a letter to Tonio, explaining as much as I could about life and emotion and navigating the big waves and the rough patches. With Tonios spirit and life motivating me, I began to write. What resulted is a 9 hour audio-book called, "Max Trinitys Metaphysics For Suicide Prevention" The audio-book is available for free and always will be on my youtube channel. The book addresses the need for a sea change in how we, as Human beings, approach parenting and especially the adolescent phase of life. It is grounded in the principles of , "as above, so below" and the "Soul/Mind/Body" connection. It maps the spiritual and psychological territories so that the individual human can navigate the most challenging times of their lives with confidence, meaning and a deep sense of purpose.

True prevention would be to raise our kids with a mindset in which the idea of suicide is never even considered as an option. Currently all energies are focused on intervention and the arena of prevention is just beginning to open up. True prevention will require a paradigm shift in how we parent... this will take time. Meanwhile the "Maps" I've laid out in the book can aid in intervention as well as turn the tide toward true prevention.

The one person I wish I could give this book to, is gone. My family still reels in the pain and the resulting PTSD that mushrooms in the wake of such horrific loss. Tonio was not on drugs, he was not bullied or introverted. He played rugby, football and la Crosse, he was a bass player in a band with his mates, he had an infallible sense of humor and a very compassionate heart. He also suffered from deep depression and the social warpage of institutions that have become toxic, specifically, public school, the socio-economic structures of our culture and the church he was a member of.

This is truly a worldwide crisis and here in Utah, along the Wasatch front, suicide is the LEADING cause of death in people 10-20 yrs. old. And though it is too late for our beautiful boy, I want it to be known that I felt Tonios spirit the whole way through the book and I feel him with me now as I write this post.

Please, help me get this word out in any way you can . This is one of our generations clarion calls, to bring an end to this terrible loss of life and to turn the vast tide of pain that has come from living so out of synch with our true nature. Please, do what you can. Godspeed
