Fantastic news and something the FCE Community can really be proud of! Barbara’s movie Humanity Ascending, that premiered in Santa Barbara in September, has been chosen as an official entry for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. It is so exciting to think that the movie will have this kind of international exposure. It is already being screened in film festivals in Tel Aviv, Japan, and South Africa and we’re waiting to hear from the UN. We're goin’ global!!! And now to be chosen to be in the prestigious Santa Barbara International Film Festival is such an incredible honor.

If you missed the premiere or you would like another opportunity to introduce your friends to CE or if you just want to be a part of the film festival frenzy and rub elbows with the stars, Humanity Asceending is being shown at the Victoria Theatre on Mon Jan 29 at 3:30pm and also at the Center Stage Theatre (above Paseo Nuevo) on Wednesday Jan 31 at 10:30am. Please arrive early to make sure you get in. I believe you can purchase tickets at the theatre where the movie is showing. Please save the date and I will follow-up next week with ticket purchasing information.

The movie is 40 minutes long and Barbara will be doing a Q & A after the screening.
